Grace and friends on Mt. Battie swing, 1898 Aug. 17.

Photographs of Theresa Babb's sister Grace Parker (top) and friends perched on the swing at the Summit House on top of Mt. Battie on 17 Aug. 1898. The Summit House was built by Columbus Buswell in 1897 and in 1899 was purchased by the Mt. Battie Association and renovated the same year. The clubhouse was torn down in 1920.
